Pyeongchang Trout Festival 평창 송어 축제

Pyeongchang Trout festival is the first major winter event you can visit in Korea. It is held on the frozen Odaecheon stream area in Pyeongchang, Gangwon province. Pyeongchang, the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics is known for boasting its beautiful winter landscape.

At the festival, you can do ice fishing for trout on the frozen stream. Besides ice fishing, there are a variety of events you can enjoy on the ice. You can do Ice sledging, trout-catching with bare hands, snow-rafting. and Ice-skating. You can even have your catch grilled at the festival. It's a fun festival to visit with your family and a group of friends.
