Dodam Sambong (3 Peak Island) is a renowned island for its beautiful scenery. Located in Danyang county, Chungcheongbukdo province, it's basically an island composed of three big stones and in the middles there's a pavilion made by Jeong Do Jeon (1342 – 1398), a historical figure in Korea who was a supporter and adviser to Yi Seonggye (who ruled as King Taejo), founder of the Joseon dynasty. The name "Dodam" is Jeong Do Jeon's pen name and Sambong means three peaks. It's both beautiful during day and night and during the day, you can take a motor boat or small cruise to tour around the island. It's the most popular one out of Danyang's 8 scenic views.
