Juknokwon is a famous Bamboo forest park located in Damyang of Jeollanamdo province.
You'll be able to see an array of bamboo trees with 8 different courses. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there are a lot of walking. It takes about 1 hour to tour around the whole park. Lights are turned on in the evenings in the bamboo forest for night walk.
You will also pass by many benches, waterfalls, pavilions and traditional Hanok houses as well.

A great place to spend the afternoon especially after a heavy lunch! The place is surrounded with bamboo trees and traditional hank houses and pavilions. With such beautiful scenery, it makes a good background for photo-taking (instagram worthy!) Quite a few movies/shows were filmed here, including the famous 2D1N variety show. This park is huge and requires lots of walking so I suggest you to wear comfortable clothing and shoes to last you!
