Seon Jeong neung is the royal tombs of Joseon dynasty. Actually we've got 42 tombs in Korea peninsula but two are in North. So only 40 are designated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Seonjeongneung comprises of the Seolleung Royal Tomb (선릉) and the Jeongneung Royal Tomb (정릉). Located in downtown Seoul, this place offers tranquil and pleasant promenades for couples and office workers. Seonjeongneung houses the burial mounds of King Seongjong (1469-1494), his wife Queen Jeonghyeon, and King Jungjong (1506-1544) of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). It's famous for resting area or taking a walk course as well. Gorgeous forest are well-formed as the green belt and we could see the great tomb architecture of Joseon dynasty.

It's one of the most beautiful and gorgeous tombs in the world I think. I can't believe how it remains in downtown so far.
