The facts
Brotchen 1552 is an artisanal German Bakery located in the the Seocho area of Gangnam. Everything in the store is baked and freshly prepared by head German baker Josef. The bakery sets itself apart from the numerous others in the city by using traditional German recipes and selling baked goods such as apple strudel, brotchen (bread), pretzels and danish pastries. As one of the only places in Seoul to sell these goods it's a real find.

Fabulous bakery, with real European products such as sour dough, and rye bread. they also have the best danish pastries I've ever had. There is also a lovely patio area you can sit outside in.
