Craftworks Itaewon, is the fourth location for craft beer kingpins Craftworks Taphouse. The original bar started serving up craft brewed beer, which became a trend that swept the nation. This new and bigger location is still serving up the 10 original craft beers, along with another 10 locally brewed ales bringing them up to a total of 20. For those who don't like beer they have a whole host of cocktails and wine by the glass.
The food at this new location has been given a bit of a makeover too , while they still serve their firm favourites like their chicken wings and burgers, a lot of new items have been added to the menu taking it into gastro pub territory with their beer braised bratwursts, and beer battered shrimps.
For the month of March they have a special offer where all food purchases will receive a free sampler paddle so you can choose which one is your favourite before committing to a full pint.
The main menu is made up of gastro pub style classics like burgers, fried appetizers, salads, and more inventive dishes that have been infused with their craft beers. Recommended is the mac & cheese with bacon jam, cobb salad, beer battered fries and the lamb burger. If you don't like craft beer they also have an excellent range of cocktails.
I really like the new menu at this location, as it's got some really great dishes like the sidewinders. Also the cocktails in particular have had a really great revamp, the long island ice tea in particular is spectacular.
