IKEA just opened it's first store in Korea to huge crowds. The giant furniture warehouse is the second largest store in the world, and is already proving to be incredibly popular with Korean residents. Huge queues have formed on the surrounding high way, but don't let that put you off as this is the store of your home wear dreams. With it's fashionably fun furniture at very reasonable prices, it's the perfect place to take your home from mundane to magnificent.
As well as the floors and floors of home wear the other draw of IKEA is their fantastic restaurant. Selling classic Swedish dishes like meatballs, salmon and desserts at ridiculously low prices, it's proved to be even more popular than the home wear. They also have a small supermarket store at the end where you can buy food and ingredients to take home.

Totally love it. I come from Europe and I always had an IKEA nearby. Love their meatballs with meat sauce + jam. It is also really cheap for what the serve!
Besides the meatballs you can get other Swedish/ European food like salmon, pies, salads... and some Korean fusion food like bulgogi. You can also get cakes for dessert.
There are 2 places to eat in IKEA. The first one is the big canteen, and the other one is a small stall outside of the cash area, which only sells hotdogs and other snacks (really really cheap as well).
Next to the cash area you will also find a supermarket where you can buy their prepared food (including their meatballs! :D), cookies, drinks, chocolates...
Beware of lines on weekends!

I love this store, the crowds have defiently died down since it first opened, but it was still fairly busy for a Tuesday afternoon. The home wear section is emmence and I could have stayed their all day choose from their fabulous range of options. However it was the restaurant that was the real stand out me. Their tasty Swedish meatballs are spectacular and such good value for money. With snacks and add ons costing as low as 500 won it's not to be missed.
