The facts

Ciuri Ciuri is an Italian restaurant located in Sangsu. Ciuri Ciuri, which means flower flower in the Sicilian dialect, is a brand new Italian restaurant specializing in home style Sicilian cuisine and popular Italian dishes.

Owned by a Sicilian couple, the food here is as authentic as you are going to get without jumping on a plane and going to Scilly! The restaurant façade is pained bright blue so can be see from miles away, and the inside of the restaurant is festooned with a rainbow of ceramics making you instantly more cheerful. Many of the cute and quirky wall decorations have been imported from Italy and really lend themselves to making the place seem fresh, vibrant and inviting.

The menu of the restaurant is simple concentrating on traditional dishes like fresh pasta, gnocchi, arrancine (stuffed rice balls), and traditional desserts. They also serve a small selection of wines to enhance your dining experience. Every dish is served with a smile and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. It's perfect for a meal with friends or a date night.

Ciuri Ciuri is one of my favourite Italian restaurants in the city. providing authentic Italian food cooked by real Italian chefs, it's as close as you are going to get without getting on a plane. In particular the signature desserts like cannoli and granita are fantastic and are a must try!
