Sigol Yachae Doenjang, meaning Countryside Vegetable Soybean paste, is a famous oldschool restaurant in Gangnam.
It's been aired and introduced on Korean TVs several times and this place boasts its long tradition and history with the Sigol Yachae Doenjang menu. Thus, you'll notice that the interior is a bit old and not so polished.
Sigol Yachae Doenjang Bibimbap is the most popular menu. It's Doenjang JJigae (Soybean Paste Stew) assorted with a bunch of vegetable banchans (side dishes) and steamed egg that complements the Jjigae perfectly. You usually eat the rice as a bibimbap where you mix all kinds of vegetables and the stew.

Sigol Yachae Doenjang is definitely a must-eat place in Gangnam. Its original Soybean paste stew is delicious!! And you can also eat a lot of fresh vegetables, mixed them all as a bibimbap. Highly recommended for first-time visitors!
