The facts
The European Christmas Market runs in Seongbuk every year thanks to the Global Village Center. Their aim is for foreign residents to feel a taste of home and for Koreans to experience European Christmas culture. This event is supported by the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Ukraine, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Each country has its own booth specializing in selling a different kind of product, from Christmas decorations, to foods and wine. As well as the stalls they also have a variety of entertainment such as Christmas Carols, dancing and costumes to really get you in the festive spirit.

For a festive day out this is just the place to come. With the huge Christmas tree in the middle of the square and the smell of mulled wine wine this is where Christmas begins. Lots of lovely decorations and foods for sale. Don't miss out.
