Really nice xiaolongbao! This is a plate that's hard to find in general outside of China/Taiwan/HK. I've eaten in this chain in different countries, and I must recognize that the Taiwanese branches are better and way busier.
The branches in Korea seem a bit sadder, I went to the one in Jamsil and it was quite empty although the Gangnam branch was more lively.

xiaolongbao usually dont break and the meat and soup inside are warm (sometimes a bit hot so be careful and follow their instructions on how to eat xiaolongbao properly ^^)

I've also tried and loved their fried rice with a pork piece on top, and the beef noddles. Delicious!!

Frequent client Tip: get their dintaifung card and sign up~ then go on Mondays for 50% off the dumplings!! (otherwise the visit are a bit expensive 30,000-35,000 for two people)

On the whole Din Tai Fung was rather hit and miss, the dumplings which they are so famous for were such an anticlimax. However the fried rice and sweet and sour pork we ordered as an afterthought were exceptional. Similar to the Chinese style we all know and love I will definitely be going back for my next craving, but next time I want dumplings ill stick with Crystal Jade.
