Chinjunjip, located in the northern Jeju, means a married woman's parents' home in Korean. The main menu is Gogi Guksu (pork soup noodle). It's one of the typical Jeju's traditional foods. Many Jeju's traditional food's ingredient is pork because since the old times there were many pigs in Jeju. Commonly Korean noodle has a transparent soup but Gogi Guksu doesn’t, which means that the soup is thick. It tastes really light and clean. And because of the light and clean soup, it's good to relieve a hangover. Practically, many Jeju people eat Gogi Guksu to relieve a hangover. Chinjungjip's soup is especially thick which is why it’s highly recommended. The taste and smell is little bit strong for a foreigner but it's worthy a try. So if you want to challenge yourself to taste the real Jeju Gogi Guksu, this restaurant is the best. Also some pork meat is added in the noodle soup.
