Seoul Deoksoo Elementary School 서울덕수초등학교

If you walk around Deoksugung-gil/Jeongdong-gil, you will find an elementary school right next to Central Hall of the Salvation Army. This small school has a long history that spans over 100 years. At this school, there's a monument that built to commemorate the first Korean broadcast aired on February 16, 1927 by JODK. JODK is Korea’s first broadcasting company whose headquarters once stood at this location. The broadcasting company was totally destroyed during the Korean War, but this monument bears testimony to its glorious past.
