Shimpyo means ‘comma’ in Korean which may give us a message to 'Take a break in life.'.
Shimpyo's main menu is Omegi Bingsu. Omegi is a very famous Jeju's traditional rice cake. It's made by glutinous millet. Jeju was in no condition to cultivate rice and barley but glutinous millet was cultivated. The Omegi rice cake is covered with red beans. It's a great chance to try Jeju's traditional food.
Another recommended menu is also Yogurt GamGyul Bingsu. Jeju's specialty is Gamgyul which similar to mandarine but different in taste and size. I think it will be a good experience try Jeju's mandarine.
Shimpyo's interior design is very cute so you can take amazing pictures.
Shimpyo is located in Seongsan which is a tour place of Jeju. There are many tourism spots in this area such as Hyeopjae beach, Aqua planet and Seongsan Ilchulbong. So it's good to enjoy with other spots.
