The facts

Once a year you can play Moses in Korea. Two times during the day the sea parts due to crazy tides and you can walk along a 2.8km path to another island. It is about 60m (180ft) wide. You can also catch abalone and seaweed like the locals.
In addition there is a festival that has food, beer, music and other souvenirs you can by.
The festival ends with a fireworks show over the ocean.

The festival is usually held in late March to early April.

There is something alluring about being able to pretend you are moses and split the ocean while you walk across this bad boy. Just be aware that some tides are better than others. It is hit or miss if you will be able to walk across without their being any water. But more realistically the water just becomes super shallow. Maybe 3 inches deep. Then you walk across the path, but don't go to far because after 40 minutes you gotta come back! This is fun for just about everyone. A lot of people will be drinking and trying to meet other foreigners. But it's so big you may not see that if you aren't looking for it. This is definitely fun, but it is a bit of a mission to get to, and rather short. That's why I knocked off the last star. But it is a unique experience that I as glad I got to do.
