The facts
During the spring Yeouido holds the Yeouido Spring Flower Festival. Every year, during April, azaleas, forsythia, royal azaleas, and other spring flowers are in full bloom. The celebration is famous for its 1,400~1,600 Korean Cherry trees.
It turns the already beautiful area of Yeouido into a charming area filled with beautiful flowers. Great for snapping photos with friends, families and loved ones. Great for dates too!
It can get crowded and is only in Korea for a short time since the cherry blossoms bloom, only lasts about two weeks. So this is a must go to!

Honestly .. too many people lol. It s more like people festival rather than cherry blossom festival.

The cherry blossom festival is a cool experience to go to. I had never seen cherry blossoms, but was just beginning to play with a camera so it was a must for me. Besides look at the cherry blossoms along the beautiful area of Yeouido there isn't much entertainment for adults. You may be able to have fun and whatnot, but it is more geared toward couples looking for romantic strolls or families with their kids. There are people in costumes and cartoon characters to entertain them. I wouldn't recommend coming cross country to check this out. But if you are in Seoul you may as well stop by for a couple hours. Especially if you like photos because these babies only bloom for 10-14 days.
