The facts

Located in Paju, this Cafe is the most well known in the Paju Book City complex. It's named after Hermann Hesse and its construction was motivated the poem 'watering'(물을 주며).

*The content of poetry in the overall context is that 'Let me plant and water flowers before the world starts to be chaoticand start gardening while enjoying every beautiful things when the summer will be gone' 

It's located on the 3rd floor of the Pinocchio museum. You can reach it by walking up stairs. In the Cafe, you can see a beautiful garden filled with many adorable plants. Visitors can also take a rest on the benches overlooking the view of Paju Book City below. 

Although Book Cafe Hesse is a book cafe, there are not many books provided. The atmosphere is like that of any other cafe But they sell some books at a discounted price.

The building housing the cafe also has an exhibition hall about Pinocchio and an Art shop. The door to the Pinocchio museum is connected with the front door of the Cafe.
