In my opinion this has got to be in the top 3 National Parks in Korea. Definitely not as good as Seoraksan but still holds its own.
Gyeryongsan has a ton of different activities and hikes to do that make it a great place to check out the scenery. From waterfalls to some of the most beautiful temples we have had the chance to see. You can also even do a templestay here apparently.
With tons of options for hikes, this is a great opportunity for people of all hiking backgrounds to see one of Korea's better National Parks and have a great time sipping some Makgeolli.
They also have these wonderfully cute restaurants at the base of the mountain that you can sit at that have a small river/creek running through where you can eat alongside or just catch a breather and have some of the area's famous Chestnut Makgeolli!
Definitely would recommend putting this on your list of places to hike in Korea.
