Portions are a bit large for one person, so going in groups would be great as you can share the food. (no complaints for that!) The ambience was also intimate and lovely, a stark contrast to hongdae's noisy and bustling atmosphere. The food was good, but not blow-you-away level good...maybe my expectations were too high due to rave reviews I read on the internet. Anyways, would visit again if I want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening in Hongdae.

That hanger steak... was too delicious and was finished too fast! The fries were amazing too~~ I hate the fact that my favorite restaurants have to be all located in Hongdae and Itaewon :(

I went there with my BF on Valentine's day with a reservation. We didn't know we were forced to buy the V.Menu, which was 50,000w per person (a bit overpriced since I really only wanted to try the Hanger steak and almost didnt eat the rest of the things).

Let's start with the starter dishes. I chose mushroom soup over the other dish because that one was seafood based and I can't eat seafood. The soup was good, although I've tried better and good soups are quite available. I wouldn't order it separate on the menu. They also bring you a small plate with 2 pieces of bread that looked to me more like two potatoes~ the bread was fabulous but too small (also they made the plate look kind of ridiculous if you ask me) and the sauce they brought was suuuuuuuuuuuuper garlicky. Like... after eating that sauce you'd better not kiss your partner!

The hanger steak was, no doubt about it, the star of our meal. It smelled marvellous~ the presentation was good, there was plenty of gravy sauce and fries~ there were only 3 or 4 pieces of meat but actually it was more than enough for me.Tasty, warm, refreshing, I felt like I was being taken home~ it is really comfort food!

For desserts we got a 2 chocolate cup, way too sweet but cute and good to end a fullfilling meal. We also got 2 glasses of wine~
