Cocoon is one of the prominent and biggest clubs in Hongdae. It is very popular among young people in their early 20's and you can see a long line waiting for a free entrance in front of the club around 9-10pm even on weekdays. So go and stand in a line if you want to get into a club for free!
When other clubs are either closed or quiet during weekdays, NB2 and Cocoon are crowded and bustling with clubbers at most. While NB2 is more close to hiphop club, Cocoon is more like an electronic club. Visit Cocoon and dance crazy to an exciting, trendy electronic music all night long!

Honestly the worst experience - the music was way too loud and the whistle blowers were just unnecessary. Crowd is pretty old for hongdae and a lot less lively than other clubs in the area. They purposely make you line up outside even though it’s not busy in the club at all. DONT GO!

Absolutely horrible. If you are a foreigner, don't even bother coming because they will charge you extra for it even when entrance is supposed to be free.
The staff at Club Cocoon (bartenders and bodyguards) are just so rude on another level. Honestly, I felt like they treated me and my friends like shit. Even my Korean friends avoid the place like the plague because they've had bad experiences there.
The music is WAY too loud and the facilities aren't clean at all. Expect to be partially deaf for around an hour after you leave the club.

They are kind a racist. It was free before 11 pm but they made me pay the entrance for being foreigner. And many people of the club didnt stop staring at me and when i moved to other zone some people even moved from that place.
If some staff is reading this, please stop being like that and show some respect for people is going to visit your club, because popel go to have fund and good time, not to be descriminated.
