Hapjeong is a non-touristic area next to the touristic Hongdae. Explore the small and medium-size streets to discover cute little stores, many hair shops and random things that you can't find in Hongdae.
The uncrowded streets have a very different atmosphere from the tourist spots!
Make sure you don't accidentally venture too far and end up in the touristic Hongdae. And if you're unlucky enough to take a few boring streets in a row, you may wrongfully think there is nothing interesting here...
You can spend a good 1-2 hours here.
Exit 2: All about tea - tea store with flower tea, famous mandu restaurant
Exits 3, 4, 5, 6, 7: Go into one of the many side streets to discover Hapjeong
Exit 1, 9: Mecantapolis, shopping center, movie theater

The best area in Seoul to go for shopping, eating and exploring. There are loads of good shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. A great place to spend the afternoon.
