"Geumneung Euddeum Beach" is one of the best beaches on Jeju Island, located next to "Hyeopjae Beach" and across the road from Hallim Park. This beach boasts a crystal clear water and white soft sand. The wonderful emerald color of the beach and the sunset view, looking out to Biyangdo Island, is truly amazing at "Geumneung Euddeum Beach".
The water is shallow and the waves small making it ideal for families with young children. The shallow water heats up easily in the summer months so the water is slightly warmer than some other beaches.
Snorkeling can be done around the black rocky areas. As far as Jeju's beaches go, this is one of the best. "Geumneung Euddeum Beach" does not get as crowded as "Hyeopjae Beach" and has larger swimming and sand area, as well as better water colour and scenery.
