Shin Pyeong Hwa Fashion Town 신평화패션타운

Shin Pyeong Hwa Fashion Town is one of the famous fashion markets around Dongdaemun market. It was there for about 30 years. Many foreigners visit Shin Pyeong Hwa Fashion Town to buy a variety of items at a wholesale price.

The building of the Shin Pyeong Hwa Fashion Town had gone under reconstruction in 1998 and it became one of the most famous fashion market buildings through out the Dongdaemun market. It is beside the Cheonggye stream so you can walk along the stream before or after shopping.
The items follow the fast-changing fashion trend.

The best advantage of Shin Pyeong Hwa Fashion Town is that the price is cheaper than the other big Fashion Markets around the Dongdaemun market area like Doota or Hello APM.
But they are wholesale markets so they usually sell products by bundle but you can just by one product. If you do buy just one or two, the price will rise slightly.

Basement floor - stage costumes, dance costumes (ex. belly dance)
1st floor - underwear, socks (many kinds), sports equipment (clothing)
2nd floor- casual clothes for both men and women
3rd floor - suits, formal dress, ties
4th floor - jeans, women's clothes, T-shirts (many foreigners visit the 4th floor)

The hours are little tricky and opening & closing hours are different between floors so you might want to be careful.

2nd floor~4th floor : 22:00~12:00am
It's closed on Saturday and re-opens 12:00pm~21:00pm on Sunday.
