Bukjeong village 북정마을

Bukjeong village is the last hillside village in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul. You will be able to feel how it was like to live in Seoul back in the 60~70s.

Dal Roll Cake Cafe 달롤

Dal roll is a craft roll cake cafe. They bake roll cake everyday and sell them until it's sold out. They have lots of kinds roll cakes such as plane, chocolate, caramel, green tea and more. Seongbuk-dong branch is the original store.

Manhae Han Yongun House 만해 한용운 심우장

This is the house where Manhae Han Yongun (1879-1944) lived from 1933 to 1944. Manhae Han Yongun, who wrote the poem 'Sweetheart's Silence', was one of the 33 national representatives for the March First Independence Movement in 1919 during the Japanese occupation.

Geumwang Pork Cutlet 금왕돈까스

Geumwang pork cutlet is a renowned restaurant in Seongbukdong. Its pork cutlet is popular. They offer fresh pork every day. So when you take a bite of the cutlet, you can taste the original pork inside the cutlet.

Choi Sunu House 최순우 옛집

Choi Sunu (1916~1984), a renowned arts historian, lived in this house from 1976 until his death in 1984. Due to the redevelopment of the surroundings, the residence once faced the danger of being demolished, but it was purchased in time with public donations raised by the National Trust of Korea in 2002 and has been managed by The Cultural heritage Foundation.

Sooyeon Sanbang Tea House 수연산방

Sooyeon Sanbang is the first traditional Korean tea house which opened in Korean-style house. This place was a house which Taejun Lee (writer) lived from 1933 to 1946 and wrote many works of literature. He named this house 'Sooyeon Sanbang'. After he died, his grandchild opened this house as a tea house.

Site of Seonjamdanji 선잠단지

The site of Seonjamdanji was a place where people prayed for fruitful years of silkworm farming and made sacrifices to Xiling, the Goddess of silkworm, who was said to have started silkworm farming.
