Usage Restrictions- Nozomi and Mizuho Shinkansen services are not eligible for use with the Kansai WIDE Area Pass.
- Premium services such as Green Cars (first-class seats) and Liner Trains may require additional charges.
Important Notes*Once issued, the mobile voucher must be exchanged within 3 months.
*Cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.

[Pass Exchange Instructions]
1. A confirmation email will be sent to the designated email address 7 days before the reserved date.
2. Please go to a Green Ticket-Vending Machine(Midori-no-Jidō-Kenbaiki) with passport mark and collect the physical ticket by scanning the QR code from the mobile voucher along with a non-Japanese passport.

3. Use the physical ticket to pass through the automated ticket gate.

  • Rail pass users must be holding a non-Japanese passport (passport issued by a foreign government).
  • Rail pass users must be entering in Japan as a "Temporary Visitor". "Temporary Visitor" is a status of residence defined under Japanese immigration law.
  • An adult or child rail pass holder can accompany up to two infants (1~5 years old) for free, as long as they do not occupy a seat. Starting from the third infant, a child rail pass is required.
  • Babies under 1 year old can accompany for free.
  • The rail pass is valid for 5 consecutive days.
  • The pass will be valid at 0:00 from the start day to 24:00 on the last day (JST).
  • However, if the validity period expires while riding a train on the last day, the pass will be valid for the fare until the following day so long as the passenger does not exit the station, and for ticket fees so long as the passenger does not depart the train.
  • Lost or stolen rail passes cannot be reissued.
