Situated alongside the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew is one of the nation's most religiously significant temples as it is the home of the Emerald Buddha.

▲ Emerald Buddha
A sitting statue of Buddha carved with one single jade stone. It is highly revered by the people and is believed to bring prosperity and good fortune to the kingdom.

▲ Wat Pho
Characterized by its colorful mosaic shrines and a 46-meter long Reclining Buddha statue, this is one of the most visually impressive temples in Bangkok, not to mention the oldest.

Jump aboard a riverboat and cruise to the Temple of Dawn. An enormous white chedi decorated with thousands of colorful mosaic designs stands at the heart of this 300-year-old temple site.
