Please dress respectfully for visiting the museum. Avoid revealing your shoulders and knees. The following are not allowed: shorts, mini skirts, flip-flops and sleeveless shirts.
Shoes must be removed before entering indoor areas. We recommend wearing footwear that is easy to slip on and off.
Please note that bringing your own Thai costumes into the Ancient City is not allowed. A penalty fee of 600 baht will be charged per costume.
Thai costumes may only be worn within the Ancient City.

What is the dress code for visiting Ancient City Bangkok and Erawan Museum?
Visitors must dress respectfully. Clothing that reveals shoulders or knees is not allowed. Shorts, mini skirts, flip-flops, and sleeveless shirts are prohibited. Shoes must be removed before entering indoor areas, so wearing footwear that is easy to slip on and off is recommended.
Can I bring my own Thai costume to Ancient City Bangkok?
No. Bringing your own Thai costume is strictly prohibited, and a penalty fee of 600 baht per costume will be charged. Thai costumes may only be worn within Ancient City.
Where can I rent a Thai costume at Ancient City?
The Thai costume rental shop is located next to the ticket counter. Please note that costumes cannot be exchanged for a different color once worn. Rentals are available until 4:30pm, and all costumes must be returned by 6:00pm.
Is transportation inside Ancient City included in the ticket?
No, the ticket does not include tram or bicycle rides. Transportation options such as bike, e-bike, car, or golf cart can be purchased separately on-site.
Are audio guides available at Erawan Museum?
Yes, audio guides are available in English, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Russian.
Can I fly a drone inside Ancient City Bangkok?
No, aerial drone photography is strictly prohibited within Ancient City.
