Overview

2 in 1: discover beautiful gems along the meandering canal, and get wet at Songkran!

Songkran, the Thai New Year water festival, is a must for everyone, but that doesn't suggest you miss out fun from an excursion. Add this canal tour for the fruitful Songkran weekend before setting off for water battles! Cruise the west of the Chao Phraya river, and stop by Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, a local floating market, and Artist's House, all of which will steal your attention: the emerald-colored crystal stupa, food & fresh goods, and artworks including life-size statues! After the tour ends, you get to wander the water-full city with a given water gun on your own!

Why this tour?
▷4-hour afternoon canal tour for the cultural infusion, with a water gun provided for Songkran afterwards
▷Cruise a canal in Thon Buri, the old capital of the Kingdom, and see a more local view of Bangkok
▷Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen: a royal temple built about 400 years ago, housing a breathtaking stupa and the golden Buddha statue
▷Local weekend floating market: local's favorite lunch place with over 200 stalls of food & fresh produce
▷Artist's House: well-kept Thai wooden house with 200+ years of history, now popular as artists' gathering place
▷Songkran: world's largest water festival, which takes place across Thailand celebrating the traditional Thai New Year
