Are there any accommodations?
The facility is located within a campsite and offers air-conditioned bungalows along with a variety of rental items. Nearby accommodations can also be recommended if needed. Feel free to get in touch for more details.
Can I join even if I don’t have any gear?
Yes. It’s possible to join even without a swimsuit or towel. Disposable underwear (to be worn under the wetsuit) and towels are available for purchase on-site, both priced at 300 yen each. So you can participate comfortably without needing to bring anything from home.
Is it okay if I can’t swim?
Yes. The tour is led by a certified guide with qualifications in Rescue 3 water rescue and first aid, along with expertise in boat operations, flowing water safety, and extensive tour experience. Since 2011, Natural Groove has conducted over 1,000 tours, with a team highly knowledgeable about water conditions and weather patterns to ensure a safe experience.
A life jacket is provided, so even those who can’t swim can enjoy the water with confidence.

Does the activity also operate during winter?
From November to February, the river’s water temperature is quite low, so swimming is not recommended—even with a wetsuit. However, the activity still runs, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery without getting wet. This season is perfect for admiring vibrant autumn leaves, spotting wild birds, and relaxing by the peaceful Shimanto River.
Do you offer a year-round shuttle plan?
The shuttle plan is available from February to June (excluding Golden Week) and from October to December. Please note that it operates on select dates only.
