  1. If you are not wearing ski suits, you may be prohibited from riding the lift or using the ski slopes.
  2. While not mandatory, it is recommended to purchase accident / travel insurance before joining this activity.
  3. Please take responsibility for your personal belongings as the tour operator will not be liable for any losses during the trip.
  4. The ski area can be crowded and busy, which may create potentially dangerous situations for children. Special attention to their safety is required.
  5. You should have a moderate level of physical fitness. Please make sure your health condition is suitable for joining this tour.
  6. Skiing is physically demanding and not recommended for infants, pregnant women, or elderly individuals.
  7. For safety reasons, walking up the slopes while carrying equipment is prohibited within the ski resort.
  8. Ski wear includes only a jacket and pants, so please bring sufficiently warm base layers to wear underneath.
  9. We recommend wearing long socks to prevent discomfort or rubbing when wearing ski boots.
  10. We recommend bringing and applying sunscreen to protect your skin from UV rays.

FAQ

Do I need to wear ski clothes to use the slopes and lifts at Biwa Valley?

Yes, wearing ski jackets and pants is required. Guests without proper ski attire may be prohibited from using the ski lifts or slopes. Bring warm base layers and long socks for comfort under the ski wear.

Is travel insurance required for this ski tour?

Travel insurance is not mandatory but highly recommended. We suggest purchasing accident or travel insurance before joining the activity.

What ski equipment is included in the rental package?

- Included: skis (67–170cm), ski poles, ski boots (15–34cm), and ski clothes (jacket & pants). Sizes are available for children (90–150cm) and adults (up to 5L).
- Not included: gloves, goggles, hats, innerwear, leggings, socks, etc.

Can I bring my own ski equipment or luggage?

Yes, but you must inform us in advance via email at experience@trazy.com. Space may be limited.
