How to book

Please keep in mind
1. Re-entry is permitted once only.
2. You may leave the venue at any time after the matches conclude.
3. Outside food and beverages, including alcohol, are not allowed in IG Arena. Please purchase items at the arena’s concession stands.
4. You may be asked to wait before being seated if any of the following are in progress: a sumo match, speeches by the Sumo Association (final day), the Makuuchi division ring-entering ceremony (dohyoiri), the Yokozuna ring-entering ceremony, or the final day’s ritual stomping ceremony. Please wait until these events conclude before proceeding to your seat.
5. Suitcases and large luggage cannot be brought into the seating area. Please store them in advance at coin lockers or your accommodation.
6. There are no elevators in IG Arena. You must use steep stairs to access seating. (*This also applies to wheelchair users.)
7. For a better viewing experience, consider bringing binoculars or a portable radio.
8. Please do not wait outside the arena to see sumo wrestlers, as it may inconvenience local residents.
9. No parking is available at the venue.
10. Spectators must remain in their assigned seats at all times.
11. Please set mobile phones to silent and avoid talking on them during the event.
12. When using cheering banners or towels, do not block the view of others.
13. Throwing seat cushions is strictly prohibited due to the risk of injury.
14. Guests arriving after the designated meeting time will have their reservations canceled.
