| Nonomiya Shrine - This shrine is located in the bamboo forest of Arashiyama. It was the setting for the 1,000-year-old historical work "The Tale of Genji," and is believed to bring blessings such as marriage and fertility. | |
| Arashiyama Bamboo Grave - The bamboo forest path is one of Kyoto's most famous sightseeing spots. Bamboo trees about 20 meters high stand on both sides of the road, making it look like a green tunnel. | |
| Jojakko-ji Temple - Many maple trees are planted within the grounds of Jojakko-ji Temple. Because it is located on a hill, you can get a panoramic view of the area around Arashiyama. | |
