- Entry to the castle tower may require waiting during peak hours.
- Wear non-slip footwear on rainy days to prevent accidents on slippery floors.
- Tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed in crowded areas.
[Smoking & Food Restrictions]
- Fires are strictly prohibited in Kumamoto Castle Park.
- No smoking is allowed within the paid area. Smoking areas are available next to the Ninomaru Reconstruction Castle Lord Reception" and at Josaien.
- Eating is not allowed in the paid area; only beverages with lids are permitted.
[Wheelchair & Stroller Accessibility]
- Wheelchair Rental: Complimentary manual and electric-assist wheelchairs are available with an accompanying person. Rentals are unavailable on rainy days. Units are limited, and reservations are not accepted.
- Strollers are allowed inside the castle.

- Large luggage cannot be stored in coin lockers within the paid area.
- Luggage with wheels is not permitted inside the castle tower.
