Its name, derived from "Kannai," reflects its spiritual significance linked to Hotaka Shrine, and it's renowned for stunning natural beauty, offering scenic hiking trails and diverse wildlife.

Route1: Taisho Pond Bus Stop > Taisho Pond > Tashiro Pond > Kappa Bridge > Kamikochi Bus Stop.

Route2: Kamikochi Bus Stop > Kappa Bridge > Myojin Bridge > Hotaka Shrine Okumiya & Myojin Pond > Takezawa Marsh > Kamikochi Bus Stop.
Distance: 5.6km / Duration: 2-2.5 hours

Suggested route
1. Tateyama Station (Chubu Mountain National Park) → Bibihira (Tateyama Ropeway 1.3 km, 7 minutes)
2. Miudaira → Midagahara → Tengudaira → Murodo (23 kilometers by plateau bus, 50 minutes)
