Himeji Castle - Himeji Castle was the first historical building in Japan to be registered as a World Heritage Site. Its graceful appearance, like that of a heron spreading its wings, has earned it the nickname of "White Heron Castle."

Mt. Shosha Ropeway - In the old days, people used to walk up the steep path to Engyoji Temple. But for us modern people, the ropeway is a relief. The view of the city from the gondola is exceptional.
