Overview

This walking tour combined with a rickshaw ride and a hike is perfect for those who want to experience Bangkok like no other.

Many are familiar with Bangkok’s glamour and color but only those of the most venturous minds will get a chance to see the other side of the moon. Away from the usual touristy environment of Bangkok, this tour takes you to some of the most off-the-beaten-tourist-path destinations.

Enjoy the most authentic Thailand as you go through places you will never see on the typical guidebook. Starting off with a walk through a local neighborhood, you will see how the locals live. Then a short longtail boat ride across Chao Phraya River will usher you into a ‘jungle’ full of banana, coconut, mango and papaya trees. Strolling through the lush green of the jungle, you will feel relaxed and refreshed.

The tour will continue on to visit a beautiful park with a pond full of fish, followed by the finishing touch of a real samlor (Thai rickshaw or a bicycle taxi) ride and a lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the beautiful Chao Phraya River. From the restaurant, you will get back to where you started off on the public boat.

*On Saturdays and Sundays, the samlor will take you to a local Thai market near the canal.
