Greet the new year in Chiang Mai watching lanterns beautifully spreading over the sky!

New Year Countdown at Chiang Mai Culture Art & Design Festival is worth a visit to round off the very last day of this year. Build up the festive mood in distinctive northern Thai style, having been a part of the ancient Lanna Kingdom and later under Burmese influences. Pooja drumming and the traditional market are some of the cultural experiences awaiting you. After the cross-over night and meditation, release sky lanterns and watch fascinating fireworks as the new year of 2019 arrives!

- A shared transfer service from/to the tour operator's office at Chiang Mai Old Town (30-minute drive to the festival venue) will be provided.
