How to issue a WOWPASS card:
  1. Locate a WOWPASS machine: location information
    Select [Get a New card] and [Issue via Code] on the machine's screen.
  2. Choose your currency and scan your passport for verification.
  3. Enter the 6-digit voucher code (membership fee waived) and check [I agree with the collection/use of personal information].
  4. Insert cash to top up your card with your desired amount.
  5. Retrieve your card from the machine and insert it once to activate it.
  6. Your card is now issued!
  7. To check your balance and transaction history, download the WOWPASS mobile application at Google Play or App Store and register your card.

  1. Card usage: WOWPASS card can only be used in offline stores in Korea.
  2. Transportation top-up: Transportation balance (Tmoney) cannot be topped up with foreign currency. You'll need to use KRW cash at subway machines or convenience stores.
  3. KRW cash withdrawal: You can withdraw cash (KRW) from WOWPASS machines (except at Incheon International Airport).
  4. Incheon Airport Limitations: WOWPASS machines at Incheon Airport cannot withdraw cash, reissue lost cards, or exchange currency.
  5. Top-up limits (in foreign currency):
    - Per day: 2 million KRW
    - Per week: 10 million KRW
  6. Fees:
    - Card balance withdrawal fee: 1,000 KRW
    - Card reissue fee: 3,000 KRW

The card is valid for 6 years from the issuance date, while the balance remains valid for 6 years from the last top-up or card reissue date. If your card expires, you can transfer the remaining balance to a new card upon reissuance.
