Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site built during the Joseon Dynasty to serve as a military defense system. The 5.7km-long fortress walls include impressive gates, watchtowers, and pavilions, and the surrounding parks come alive with blooming cherry blossoms in the spring.

The Icheon Sansuyu Festival is a popular spring festival that celebrates the blooming of the beautiful sansuyu (cornelian cherry) flowers. The bright yellow flowers cover the hills and villages, and you can enjoy various cultural performances and local food markets during the festival.



▲ Wonmisan Azalea Festival
Every spring, Wonmisan Mountain transforms into a sea of pink and purple as thousands of azaleas bloom across its slopes. Enjoy scenic walking trails lined with vibrant azalea flowers, along with food stalls and hands-on activities.
