[Mungyeong]
Mungyeong Saejae, one of the major mountain passes en route to Hanyang (Capital of Joseon: Seoul’s old name), is once again grabbing people’s attention thanks to Netflix’s K-drama “Kingdom” that made Korean zombies a global sensation. Many scenes are filmed on location at and around Mungyeong Saejae including the outdoor set stage.
Surrounded by Baekdu Daegan mountains with nature as its backdrop, many old houses and cultural heritage sites are scattered in Mungyeong. Hwasuheon, an old house in a clan village turned into a Hanok stay (Korean style house) lodging, and a private estate turned into a cultural space and cafe, Byuteuneun-San, are worth noting to discover the true colors of Mungyeong .

[Yeosu]
Yeosu was reborn as the representative city of the Southern coastline of the Korea peninsula after hosting the 2012 Expo. Magnificent view of Dadohae Oceanic National Park (archipelago: group of islands) can be seen almost everywhere in the city and delicate and tasty foods have captured visitors' hearts.
Right off the train station, which is connected to Expo Park, you can enjoy zip-wire, kayaking, jet ski and more.
Take a walk through a cozy camellia forest trail around Odongdo Island, and visit Jinnamgwan -- the naval headquarter - and learn about the great admiral Yi Sun-Shin. Let's wrap up the trip with maritime cable car ride and enjoy the exceptionally beautiful scenery of Yeosu.
