The Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival is an annual winter event held in Hwacheon that typically takes place in January when the Hwacheon River freezes over. The festival is famous for its unique ice fishing experience through holes drilled in thick ice. In addition to ice fishing the festival offers various winter activities like ice sledding and snow sculpture exhibitions.

  5. Depending on the weather, if the temperature is too high and the ice is not frozen, the location will be changed to another festival village. The departure and end dates of this product may vary by season.
