"Jean Art Gallery", located nearby Gyeongbokgung Station in Seochon, is an art gallery that holds both individual and collaborated exhibitions of artists. It's pioneer of the Seochon Village gallery scene. Look for the yellow metallic butterfly above the gallery's red brick building.
Ever since the gallery has been opened in 1972, it has been putting efforts to promote contemporary artists in Korea to Japan, as well as Japanese artists' work to Korea. It is the only gallery that exhibits works of a prominent Japanese artist named Kusama Yayoi.
