Located to the east of Irun-myeon, lie the two most popular islands of Geoje, Naedo (inner island) and Oedo (outer island).
Also referred to as the Turtle Island, Naedo island often resembles a turtle moving towards Oedo. Naedo Island is also a part of the Hallyeo Haesang National Park and comes under the 8 best scenic views of Geoje category.
As opposed to the European styled Oedo Botania, Naedo Island is a natural ever-land of evergreen trees including camellia and silver magnolias. The island boasts a perfect harmony between the evergreen trees and rocky beaches. Due to its rocky shoreline, the island has many niches making it a perfect destination for a Sunday fishing trip!
The island can be seen during a drive along the Geoje coastal road. The best views of the island can be visible during a ferry ride to Haegumgang island (another popular tourist destination) via the wharf from Gujora Beach.
