The Cabbages & Condoms (C&C) Restaurant, located near BTS Skytrain Asok Station, is one of the unique restaurants in Bangkok that is very popular among local and foreign visitors alike.
What is unique about this restaurant is that it pursues to promote a better understanding of family planning and that the income from the restaurant goes to the Population and Community Development Association (PDA), an organization related to sex education and AIDS prevention.
The restaurant has an open area, deck and private rooms for you to enjoy your meal in a cozy atmosphere.
Also, there are decorations that are made of condoms from all around the world, which are interesting to take a look at. The restaurant also provides packaged condoms after your meal, too!

My husband and I found out about Cabbages and Condoms and knew we had to try it while visiting Bangkok. The first thing I noticed when we walked in, was how beautiful the restaurant actually is – the outdoor seating area was like a misty garden filled with flowers, plants, and these amazing hanging lanterns. It was not what I had expected from a place with "condoms" in the name!
Another cool thing, all proceeds go to The Population and Community Development Association, an organization that helps promote family planning in Thailand!
We enjoyed our food and the experience will stay with us for a lifetime. Definitely visit here when you're in Bangkok.
