Chungjuho Lake is located in Danyang, Chungcheongbuk-do province, the central part of Korea. It is an artificially formed lake due to the construction of Chungju Dam and is known for its clean waters and amazing surrounding natural scenery.
You can take a ferry around the lake to enjoy some of the best sceneries in Danyang. Nearby attractions and tourist destinations include Mt. Woraksan National Park, Cheongpung Culture Center, Eight Sceneries of Danyang, Gosugul Cave, Suanbo Hot Springs, drawing numerous visitors. Especially, it is welcomed by many people during the autumn season visiting to watch brightly colored leaves.
