The Garden of Morning Calm 아침고요수목원

Open year-round, The Garden of Morning Calm is a huge garden spanning 30,000 meters squared full of beautiful plants and flowers. Every season there are different festivals to enjoy, the most well-known one being the Lighting Festival where lit up trees and plants offer a spectacular night view.

Kim You-jeong House of Literature 김유정 문학촌

Named after the famous novelist who was recognized as an icon of Chuncheon, The House of Literature is a restoration of Kim You-jeong's birth home in an effort to commemorate his life. There is an exhibition hall, walking path and hiking trail as well as a display of a variety of programs reproducing his works.

Lake Cheongpyeong 청평호반

Gugok Waterfalls 구곡폭포

Designated as one of Chuncheon's official tourist attractions, the falls at Gugok Falls twist and turn nine different times before dropping down from a huge stone wall, ending in a magnificent 50-meter cascade. They are also surrounded by interesting rock formations, one which includes the Hanuelbyeokbawi Rock.

Chuncheon Myeongdong Dakgalbi Street 춘천 명동 닭갈비 골목

Dakgalbi is a deliciously spicy stir-fried chicken served with sweet potatoes, cabbages and rice cakes and this famous side street in Chuncheon is full of restaurants serving it. Enjoy dakgalbi then have fried rice that's stir-fried with the remaining sauce if you're still not full!

Cheongpyeongsa Temple 청평사

Located on Obongsan Mountain, this temple is calm and idyllic and the ideal place to enjoy nature as you relax. There is also Cheongpyeongsa Valley, which is known for its clean waters and the Guseong Waterfall whicm makes nine different sounds nearby.
