Ao Phang Nga National Park

Conveniently located between the provinces of Phuket and Krabi, Phang Nga National Park is a national park in the province of Phang Nga. As one of the prominent national parks in Thailand, it boasts a grand size of 400 square kilometers with more than 40 islands under its protection.

Phang Nga National Park’s islands are made of beautiful limestones, adding to the park's exotic atmosphere. The most convenient and widely used mode of transportation between the islands is kayaking, so the visitors get plenty of boat action here.

The most sought-out island at this National Park is Ko Khao Phing Kan, or more widely known to tourists as James Bond Island. This island in particular is famous due to its starring role as a movie location of the 1974 James Bond Movie “The Man With the Golden Gun’. In front of the island stands the most characteristic islet of the bay, Ko Tapu, a 20 meter tall limestone. People also love adventuring to the majestic cliffs and Hongs of Phang Nga by kayak.
