Baan Dam, also known as The Black House, is an art gallery located in the city of Chiang Rai, Thailand. This unique gallery is designed and styled like an actual temple, with multiple buildings and structures, by an artist named Thawan Duchanee. Like the name "Baan Dam" hints, the general theme of this gallery is dark and mysterious.
Inside the mystical "temple", a collection of dead animal skins, bones, teeth, and taxidermy is displayed. Although these items are quite unconventional, they are rather sophisticated, inspirational, and aesthetically pleasing.
