Liab Duan Night Market

Liab Duan Night Market or popularly known as the Night Market by the Highway is located next to a highway near Watcharapon Junction, just a little outside of downtown Bangkok.

If you are interested in visiting a non-touristy night market, this is a great place to go. Not many tourists visit this market due to lack of public transportation but it is quite popular with local residents because of its abundance in the range of products sold as well as the affordable prices offered.

You can find almost anything at Liab Duan Night Market from clothes, accessories, vintage items, and antiques to knock-off luxury goods, food, and even a tiny petting zoo. There are some incidental barbers and nail salons offering very reasonable prices for haircuts and manicure as well. If you get hungry, there are several vendors and stalls selling all kinds of food and drinks. Bars and pubs in this market offer cheaper booze compared to those sold in town.

This night market is open daily until a little after midnight, around 2am, but varies depending on the stores and vendors. But note that most shops and some restaurants are likely to close on Mondays.
