Have u ever heard of "Bing Su"?
How about "Juk?"

These are Korean traditional desserts.

I guess most of you are unfamiliar with these. And it's not even easy to pronounce clearly. But if you want to have a taste of authentic and unique Korean desserts, I strongly suggest you visit Okrumong.

First of all, Bing su is a kind of sherbet or ice flakes ground finely in special blender. A bowl of shaved ice is often topped with milk, small pieces of rice cake or mochi, sweetened red-bean syrup and nut pieces.
Juk is a porridge made of sweet rice or red-beans instead of oats, and eaten warm in Korea. There are quite a variety of Juks in Korea, as the taste and nutrients vary with different added nutrients from seafood, vegetables and meat.

You can get more information on these dishes on different websites as well.

Anyway, the reason why I strongly recommend Okrumong is because of their special recipe to make sweetened red-bean paste. Unlike conventional method common in other shaved ice shops, Okrumong makes the sweetened red-bean every day in very big cauldrons using domestic red-bean.

Plus, all menu is served on traditional dishes made of brass to keep the temperature. So guests can not only see Korean dishes but also enjoy the foods in good condition.

There are many fusioned bingsu restaurants in seoul. However if you want to try Korean traditional bingsu then you have to go here ! Because of many people you may wait. But it is worthy of waiting :)

I have to agree with Tia. The desserts and offerings are very good. The menu is much more traditional than other red bean dessert locations but it is good. However a small bingsu will run you around 8000 and other menu items are higher ( maybe 20%) than most competitors.
